During a two phase construction approach, TSC collaborated with the Port of Houston to identify, quantify and develop environmental mitigation plans for contaminated soils located on the site. ~14,000 tons of contaminated soil were exported from the project site.
The major work items included 110,000 CY of excavation, 90,000 SY of 15 IN JRCP with 25 FT Joint Pattern and double mat reinforcement, the installation of 11 new area lighting poles, 2900 LF of new water line, with 7 EA hydrants, 1,300 LF of sanitary sewer, 800 LF of storm drainage pipe and 1,000 LF of reinforced concrete box culverts.
